Can you believe Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away. This is always my favorite holiday to host. Not because I love to cook... but because I love setting a Thanksgiving Day table. No it's not for the turkey- it's for the table setting and decor. So I decided to make it my Friday Farmhouse Finds post for this week.
I decided to go with a vintage floral pattern with pops of modern edged copper. Well this was my table setting plans, until we had to make travel plans and was not longer able to host. We will be traveling to be with family- instead of family traveling to us. So if anyone brings this vision to life please share it with me! This non-traditonal Thanksgiving palette will set your table apart from the rest- Thanksgiving with a designer flair.

Design plan: The floral table runner is the base for your organic, vintage, yet feminine design. You will run the live olive branch garland down the center curving it every so slightly back and forth. Kind of like a limp snake- okay bad example, but you get the idea. Next randomly place your copper candlesticks and bud vases. You will need a couple different sizes of both. Let's say (3) large candle sticks, (2) small candlesticks, (2) small vases, and (3) small vases. Quantities all depend on the size of your table. Place candles in candlesticks and light for a romantic glow. Add some pink colored flowers in your bud vase to bring the floral pattern in the runner into the tabletop. Pink dahlias would be beautiful. {Can you tell I had this whole thing planned out in my mind- ugh! I might just create it for a random Monday night dinner. Because I can be all F-A-N-C-Y... Right?!}
Now place the copper chargers around the table at seats. Top the chargers with the stoneware plate and the natural linen napkins with hammered copper napkin rings. Place the silverware and wine glass on each side of the place setting. Add a simple handwritten place card and a sprig of olive branch for a personal touch.
As always thank you so much for stopping by today and reading my blog. I hope you guys liked my Thanksgiving Tablesetting. Hopefully someone, somewhere out there creates this vision I so wanted for my Thanksgiving table this year. Let me know what Farmhouse finds you would like to see next!
