Last week I had the pleasure of actually being a shopper at a barn sale called The French Farmer's Wife. After finding out two of my favorite antique booths at a local antique store were joining forces and putting on a barn sale I was all in.
When I first moved to the Triad of North Carolina I spent many {MANY} hours in an antique store call Antique Market Place. 99.9% of that time was in The Urban Farmhouse's and Chateau et Jardin's booths. Searching through their booths was like a french farmhouse treasure hunt for me. Their staging and styling was above and beyond and a perfect mixture of my style- a little farmhouse and a little french.
Their barn sale was even more than I had ever imagined. Located in Kernersville, NC the setting was a red barn exterior with a french farmhouse interior. The inside of this barn was packed with amazing farmhouse and french finds. They had architectural, garden, lighting, dishes, furniture, and everything that made my little heart flutter. I absolutely loved seeing these two ladies merge and intertwine their styles so seamlessly.
These ladies work so hard to bring their customers the best french and farmhouse decor pieces and for that one of a kind shopping experience. Well done ladies!! I'm am so glad I was able to attend the first ever "The French Farmer's Wife" Barn Sale, because I know I witnessed the beginning of something amazing! And I didn't leave the sale empty handed. I bought a corbel, a galvanized planter and 3 large windows. I can't wait to show you guys how I use them in my home.
If you live in the area make sure to attend the next French Farmer's Wife Barn Sale November 4th & 5th 9 am- 4 pm. Here is a link to the event page for more information- {CLICK HERE}.
